The purpose of this research is developing the skills students with mild intellectual disabilities using interactive map applications (Google Maps, Yandex Maps), determining how to implement applications, and revealing problems encountered in practice possible solutions detail. designed an action model. study group consists three who were diagnosed disability by Counseling Research Center (CRC) special education class a secondary school Ankara. In research, "Observation Form Concerning Use Interactive Map Applications" was used pre-application, post-application permanence application. researcher’s diary, video photograph records are other data collection tools research. At end study, students' ability use on phone, computer smart board measured it determined that improved. development social studies lessons contributed direction finding literacy skills. addition, has been observed these contributes life as increases their self-confidence improves abstract thinking
